My Hot water cylinder is leaking and has had its day, does anyone know how to get it replaced as I am on state pension and have no money to spare!

Here are a couple of ideas.
Use this link to find your nearest Home Improvement Agency
http://www.findmyhia.org.uk/ They can often advise on local grants and schemes.
If that doesn't work out try using the grants search tool on the Scope website to see if you can identify a suitable charitable grant giver that you can apply to:

Hi Harry and warm welcome.
Strongly recommend you contact your local ageuk office.
Ask about replacement tank and request a benefits assessment.
They get national funding to provide this service.
I would also contact your energy supplier, they hold funds for people in your situation.
There is help out there.
Keep in touch.
Best wishes
