Hello @Sandy4563 and a warm welcome to the community. Good to have you with us.
It is not surprising that you are anxious about PIP - on this and other sites and in the media there is no shortage of horror stories - but it is worth remembering that it is only 'horror stories' that make news. When everything goes well and smoothly it is unlikely to be publicized.
I am not a benefits advisor as such, but we do have well-qualified and experienced people here and some great resources and advice. You are not alone now.
Our more knowledgeable and qualified people will be in touch with you as soon as possible, so bear with us and keep in touch.
Warmest best wishes to you and to your husband,
Richard
