Hi @dianneke, welcome to the community! Great to have you here. I've moved your post into one of our cerebral palsy categories, where hopefully our Specialist Information Officer, @Richard_Scope, will be in touch!

    Hi @dianneke
Thanks for your post and I will do my best to help.

Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects muscle control and movement. It's usually caused by an injury to the brain before, during or after birth. Children with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy may have difficulties in controlling muscles and movements as they grow and develop.
Cerebral Palsy does not affect everybody in the same way.

Is there any specific advice that you need?

    Hi @dianneke
The level of care and support you will need to provide will depend on the type an severity of the Cerebral Palsy.
I will include a link here to some general information about Cerebral Palsy.
    https://www.scope.org.uk/support/families/diagnosis/cerebral-palsy

I hope that is helpful to you. If I can be of further assistance, please get in touch.

And don't forget to also actually ask the lady herself, and her family (if that's appropriate)
