I made a claim in feb2017 got denied so appealed it June 2017 made a few calls to two and sent in all hospital appointments has 10 ops in 5 years I have just wrote to them again and still not heard anything about mybapeal

When you appealed, was this a request to the DWP to look at the decision again (called a mandatory reconsideration), or was it an appeal to HMCTS (The Tribunals' Service)?
If it was a mandatory reconsideration, you need to ring DWP. If it was the Tribunals Service, I would ring them. Whichever it was, I would expect you to have heard something by now. If you can ring, it's better as it's possible the letters aren't getting to the right place?
I also wonder if you should claim again just to make sure that you are covered. It won't stop you from following up your appeal on the previous claim.
