Hi everyone
I suffer from severe chronic back pain and mental health issues but I have only been given the standard pip award for living and mobility.
I'm finding it difficult to get around and would like to apply for a blue badge but I'm unsure whether or not I will be able to get one.
I'm also not sure how to get one.
Cheers guys, your help and advice would be much appreciated.

Hi @Griff68
Welcome to the community.
You can find all the ways that you can automatically qualify for a blue badge listed at: https://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/blue-badge-scheme
There are variations between Scotland, Wales and England but basically if you were awarded at least 8 pts for 'moving around' part of PIP you will be able to get a badge easily. If you need clarification contact the blue badge office at your council.
Best Wishes

You should have no problems getting a blue badge and a buss pass if not already in receipt of one. You may have to have an acessment.1
