I had had enough waiting of the decision 2 months so got the cab to ring them up the DWP decision was made on the 14 th of June I know if I had not went to see the cab they would have let me wait another month before they posted it funny how they said its in the post which it was not cab rang them on the 20th funny how I got it today 22 nd they posted it on the 20th the same day cab rang them I know how they work

Yes this does happen, I have certainly had the experience of ringing the DWP for them to say 'oh I didn't realise the claimant wanted an MR' even though the request was sent in weeks before - sometimes you need to push & push (this is where the MR request was very clear, as well). Things tend to go to the bottom of the pile so we need to be persistent.
Anyway I'm glad you have now got it.
