Lack of care and support for under 65 years of age patients

Just been told I now have to pay for my care package which is 15 minutes a day x5 days and 30 minutes x2 days for showers. Approximately 2500 annually. So £40+ pounds a week. If I was over 65 it would be free. I also don’t have cancer so no support or assistance available!

You should be able to get Pip which will help pay for it.1

Hi
I can put your mind at ease about being over 65 years.
Social care for this age group is means tested, it is not free.
Suggest you contact your local CAB to get a benefits check and help to claim for any benefits you might be entitled to.
Keep us informed.1
