I owe my mobility to the NHS. I had SAFOs fitted some 12years ago, which enabled me to keep walking. Now however my present ones are so fatigued I am finding difficulty in walking. I am now in a position where I am being told that there is no funding and I am feeling let down despite having paid into the system for over 50 years during my working life

Hi @roypetzing and a warm welcome to the community! I am sorry to hear they have stopped funding. Who did you hear this from? I wear AFO's and have found if I self refer myself to a physio then they can point you in the right direction!
Hope you find the online community supportive
