Lovely award winning disabled blogger Gem Turner turned 25 this year and I just spotted this lovely blog where she lists 25 things she is grateful for.

What are you grateful for? Big or small, silly or heart felt - I'd love to hear them!

    Hi @CaderMac, I love Gem Turner's blog!

I'm grateful for the ability to express myself. I love writing and feel it is an honour to be able to share my views in such a way. I hope during this process I am able to help others :)

What a lovely blog post - thanks for sharing, @CaderMac!

I'm very grateful to be surrounded by so many creative people with their own passions and all working on their own projects. It really does inspire me to make stuff and work on exciting things! :)

Hello @CaderMac   Have some I like to share. Having given up the alcohol and drugs.  Clean eleven years ongoing.

Finding my faith.  Meeting my the community on here.  Making new friends and being all supportive.  Kind words and words of comfort.  Using the power of prayer and the healing it can bring to me and I hope others.

Being with inspirational people .They know who they are.

Having the life experience giving up a job I was trapped in to. Did ten years plus or more .  Business set up and meeting all walks of life. Taught me about money and people demeanours attitudes.

Money is not the key to happiness.  Having it made me feel more lonely that not having it.  If that makes sense to all you wanting more money and want to do the lottery.

My music and memories behind it all.  Meeting music inspirations and finding how they use soul, gospel and how they use the power of the voice to bring joy to every one.

Happy in a sort of way with my inner being and soul. More peace and solace. Have some bad days and get down days. Who does not but at the end of all it.

Content to try to help those who feel what to know the truth.  What life is. How to deal with it all. Not to try to look back but forward if I can.

We all do and wish had done this and that and met you know what her name . Met and married the wrong one could have. Still sweating on that one.

Used to be concerned am I going to be lonely am I going to be old. What is age. Just a number. As for what her name again never really crossed my mind.  Still feel lonely but this helps.  Being on here.

Never really think of being in a relationship now. Maybe one day who knows.   Got a pile of photocopied application forms. If I meet any one . Have to fill one in lol.  I insist on it. I am a gentleman. Need to know anything hidden as for last time wow .

Another story for another time. Sorry not sharing that one. I am a sensitive soul.

Grateful and thoughtful for trying to find and look for what I need now.  Using language to better myself and learning more. Being educated.  This is my destiny.

My knowledge given to me by people who just wanted to see me happy.  Get myself into a frame of mind and think about living well and my health.

Being with  a friend who gives me time his energy and I hope his life long friendship and may it continue.

From a gentleman who had a group of fair weather friends . Thought being used now down to one .

With the exceptions of being on here where I am and do belong. We talk on a screen but behind every one who is a friend to me. Have a heart.  Care and concern about.

Wake up bringing a new day sunshine down the line to them and them to me.

So am grateful to be breathe air and be aware.

    Take care

    Hi @CaderMac
I am grateful for the NHS saving my life this year. For my partner who has put up with me for 5 years and still with me despite everything that has happened. For my mum, always been there from day one and never left my side. For my true friends not disowning me when I became disabled. For my dogs and Guinea pigs giving me lots of cuddles and kisses. For my physio and OT helping me to get my life back and helping me to get stronger and more mobile. For being able to take over 30 tablets a day to maintain my health when I couldn't even take 1 tablet a couple of years ago. For my family, loving and supporting me. To Scope, accepting me and allowing me to be a community champion :)
