I live in an orbit house. My shower has broken Monday. I phoned there emergency line. What am I supposed to do to wash myself and hair. I walk slowly with two sticks and for balance. So how am I expected to wash myself with no free hands. Am I expected to get a some one to take my wheelchair upstairs so I could wash myself. I haven’t a partner to help me. I am absolutely disgusted as it’s now Friday and still no shower. What can I do.

Hi
Sorry to hear of your difficult situation.
Here are some ideas that you might want to consider, they are all aimed at focusing your housing providers attention on your plight so that it hopefully becomes a priority for being resolved:
Make a formal complaint: https://www.orbit.org.uk/contact-us/complaints-and-feedback/
If you have any professionals working with you that recognise that this is putting you at risk ask them if they would also be willing to contact Orbit.
Maybe you could attend Orbit's nearest office in person
Contact them via social media: https://www.orbit.org.uk/media/social-media/ https://en-gb.facebook.com/Orbit.Homes.uk/
Ask your MP to intervene: https://www.parliament.uk/get-involved/contact-your-mp/
Hope things get sorted for you soon
Best Wishes
Jean
