Hello every body share this one . Had this last night. Introduction to those who want to cook with Spices.

Minimum fuss and preparation.  All in one pan or stockpot. Not much washing up.

You will need the following.

Chicken Thighs two per person.
Pack of Bacon Lardons
Pack of Chestnut Mushrooms or assorted or Jar drained. Sliced or buy already sliced.
Used Frozen in this.
Carton of Passata
Onions sliced or use frozen.
Paprika 1 teaspoon
Smoked Paprika 1 teaspoon.
Chicken Stock made up half a pint.
I used stock left over from Minestrone recipe
Herbs 1 teaspoon of each Fennel Seeds, Rosemary, Thyme. Dried.
Beans Cannellini drained.

METHOD

In a large sauté pan or stockpot add Olive oil add Bacon Lardons fry till golden add Chicken Thighs Skin down .

Add in Sauce Carton Passata, Stock, Spices, Herbs, Beans  If using fresh Mushrooms and Onions add now cover.  Bring to boil and simmer.  Hour..

Check now and again . If too thick add water.  Sauce will reduce. To a thick sauce so just add a touch of boiling water.  Beans have substance in them to thicken sauces.

Check for seasoning.

If using frozen Veg like Mushrooms and Onions add last half hour.  Straight into sauce no need to defrost.

You can adapt this to your tastes. I recommend Carrots and Celery diced using Food processor add in for a Ragu Sauce.

Have this left over any Sauce as a Soup.  Add in Pasta, Penne, Fusilli.

Bean Faggioli Soup for lunch.  Bean Soup.

Bueno Appetito.

Hello @debbiedo49 Thanks for comment.  Always glad to advise.

Understand if wish to make more health conscious omit the bacon, remove the Chicken Skin.

Won't be the same but I have put this on. Make it your own. Adapt to your own tastes.

Use Turkey Thighs diced not Chicken.  Add different beans to your taste.   Add in Chickpeas and add in different sorts of Carbs. Rice, whole grain those microwave packs.

This is your Paprika Chicken make it your own.

    Always glad to help.

    Take care
