Social Work England Are Looking for Experts by Experience in Sheffield
From Disability Sheffield:
Social Work England will be the new, specialist regulator for all child, family and adult social workers in England. Their main objective will be to protect the public by setting the standards for social workers, ensuring they meet those standards, are fully qualified and remain fit to practise.
They want to be an open, honest, transparent and fair regulator and need people who have lived experience in relation to social work (Experts by Experience) to help them to develop the organisation and challenge them to achieve that ambition.
You can be involved from the start in setting up their Expert by Experience Advisory Group helping to shape and design how the group will work, its roles and responsibilities and frequency of meetings. If you’d like to take part please come along to the first meeting.

I hope that this works as stated because my experiences with Social Care have been awful. I am now actually blacklisted and cannot have a Social Worker even though there is no such legal restriction but all complaints to their internal system are found to be untrue and SW's are always performing well.
