    Hi ami 2301,
    Glad you are doing well,
    Thank you for your reply,
I'm on good and bad days, stressing at the moment, so pain is heightened, had forms about reviewing esa, why do they make forms hard to understand, and yes/no and varies, some disabilities aren't a yes no answer, also pain killers, mess with your head, so you can't give a clear answer, had letter from pip, saying my pip is continuing, but esa, want to see if I can work, so confused with all this

Hi I'm 53, worked most of my working life, diagnosed in 2000, with hemaplegic migraine, then 2011, a disc shattered in my spine, I was later to find out after surgery, I was left with numbness and severe pain in my lower back, left leg and groin, also severe leg spasms, about 1yr ago they diagnosed me as having degenerative spinal desease, still under neurological specialist, as I have problems with my discs in my neck, and lower back, also I have cervical spondylitis in my neck, osteoporosis, and carpel tunnel in both hands, severe dizziness, bad ibs, acid reflux, problems with my feet, and diabetes, and top of the list and longest severe depression, anxiety/panic attacks, rarely go out, unless places are empty, I live on my own, see my daughter, daily but not for long as she works, so spend lots of time alone, which I like, as I have paranoia,
    That's me folks,

It's hard. My job before my back went I was a housekeeper in Hampshire to very large houses, so I'm a clean freak, but it's getting harder and harder to keep up with it, but I know no one would do it like me, and my last bit of dignity is my home.

I completely understand what you mean, are there any particular tasks you find difficult? I am just wondering in case we can suggest any aids that may be of use to you :)

Standing, sitting in one position for long, writing or using my hands for a long time, had to stop knitting and crocheting, which I loved, I loved cooking but can't stand long enough now, have to keep sitting, so it's difficult to cook things you need to stay with, my kitchen is too small for a chair or stool,

Do you use anything to support you when you stand?
Do you have a cushion supporting you when sitting?
