Help filling renewal pip form in

Hi @vickyg72, and a warm welcome to the community!
Citizens Advice have some great guidance for filling in PIP review forms on their website. Have a read, and do come back to us with any questions!0 -
Vicky, the CAB will help you, especially if you have a local CAB centre close to you. You can also get help over the phone I believe but that will take ages and a lot of phone ache.
If you only have a drop in centre like I do, you will speak to a general hello person, and then they will refer you to a welfare specialist.
It is worth using the pip review guide on the point system etc, and sticking to the points of that. If you have access to a computer and printer, it will be worth while you typing out as much information as you can, even if they are just bullet points.
Try to include as much information as possible, and ideally on the PIP renewal form if you want to include information all well and good, but I got fed up after a while, and just put see additional information.
You have a month, but will have to phone up and ask for an extension if needed. You need to treat the information as a new claim, as the form is still quite heavy for a review, if you have a light touch review then that will be different, but I found my review as bad as when I first applied.
Try and do bits and pieces every day as much as you can, as it is brain draining and panic mode does set in.
Good luck with it
—Tina, always better to start your own conversation asking your question rather than asking on someone else's question. It means that you have two conversations going on at once, when the original poster or people wanting information on the subject posted, then has to go through people replying to you on your matter, it gets confusing.

@Needhelpandadvice this post is nearly 6 years old and the poster hasn't been active since then

Fair point, my fingers done the typing before my eyes done the vision work. However, I found the post so someone else might also as well. At least there is 2024 information there.
Just a shame that there is not a system where posts after a while are hidden.
