Your contract ending won't affect your ESA claim because you're already claiming ESA in the WRAG.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hi @angy as poppy says, ESA is not a form of sick pay for employees, it's more like the equivalent of Jobseekers Allowance for those who are not fit to look for work.
Your employment ending therefore has no bearing on your claim for ESA.
Perhaps also consider a claim for PIP. Benefits and Work website have a 'self test' where you can check if you might qualify. http://www.mybenefitsandwork.co.uk/pip/indexxx.php
Good luck and kind regards,
