First time posting hope everyone is having a not so bad evening. I have a granddaughter who is 15 with a few issues with mental health. She self-harms, has taken an overdose of drugs, has been hospitalised, has panic attacks, been bullied horrendously and wants to be a nurse, but with all her missed schooling through one thing or another I'm not sure where she starts to put right the long list of to do's to catch up. some days just getting out of bed is an achievement for her other days she talks a mile a minute and is bubbly and girly and makes you laugh at her audaciousness. Love her to bits but am at a loss to know what to do except be there.

Hello @essjay Pleased to meet you welcome.
Thank you for joining and sharing.
Sorry to here about your granddaughter . You have come to the right place for support.
We are a friendly, supportive community. I am one of the team of Community Champions and I know and do having mental health is never easy to deal with.
I would offer guidance in looking at first getting any support for your granddaughter.
Consider looking at on line for Mental Health Support.
One of the charities I got involved with was a Mental Health one. Called Richmond Fellowship.
https// www.richmondfellowship.org.uk.
They have a recovery programme and also have many different aspects of dealing with Mental Health.
Coping methods and strategies Have a look at their website.
Also have a look at our Mental Health issues. These are posts from our community members. Lots of advice, information and support.
We are the community always here anytime to ask any questions, advice, information. To reassure you.
Pleasure to meet you.
Take care
