Zak716,
Once you have sent off your ESA50 you should hear if you're going to be called for an assessment. If you sent your form off on 3rd Sept I think it is worth enquiring - even if this is just to make sure they have your form.
Depending on your condition and what evidence you provided with the form, you may not have to have a face to face assessment.
If you do have to have an assessment, you may have to wait - there have been delays of six months or more in some areas. You will get paid your benefit whilst you are waiting.
As regards repeat assessments, this time, if there is a decision that you should be in the support group, you should also get a decision about whether or not you should be reassessed in the future. This only applies to people with severe conditions which the assessor thinks are unlikely to improve, but it is supposed to avoid those people having to go to further assessments.
If you don't get a decision or an invite to an assessment soon and this is causing you stress, you could complain or contact your MP. But otherwise, I'm sorry, it probably is just a question of waiting. Let us know when you know more.

Hi,There's no timescales to waiting times for assessments or decisions. I sent my ESA50 form off around the same time as you and mine is also a review. I had my assessment just over 2 weeks ago and have a copy of the assessment report that i requested. There's most likely not much backlog in my area which is why it was quicker. The good thing about ESA is your money can't stop unless you're found fit for work, so you'll continue to be paid while a decision is made. Good luck.0

Thanks for your replay0

I have sent supporting documents from specialists and scans appointments I hope it will be paper based decision0

Future appointment letters aren't classed as evidence because it doesn't tell them anything about how your conditions affect you.
