Can anyone tell me what to expect from a visit about pip

They will ask you questions about how your conditions affect you based on the PIP descriptors. You can have someone with you during the assessment but you'll have to answer all the questions yourself, unless you have an appointee.

You'll also be watched from the minute they arrive to the minute they leave. You should have already sent in evidence to prove how your conditions affect you because they rarely ask anyone for any evidence.

About a week after the assessment you can ring DWP to ask for a copy of the assessment report to be sent to you, if you live in the UK. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be as they mostly go with the report.
