Any recipes for a simple marinade for 3-bean salad (chick peas, kidney beans and regular snap beans)0
-
Hello @cracker Thank you for your for your question.
I use simple ones. Favourite ones are based around Olive Oil and Lemon juice plus Red wine Vinegar.
Always use Extra Virgin good wine vinegar . Lemon juice time saver a bottle I use.
Others are Balsamic or Cider vinegar.
Have found this one for Summer time.
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
1 garlic clove crushed
1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard.
mix together.
Add to beans. Want a spicy kick add Tabasco instead of Dijon mustard or add Worcester Sauce .
Understand the fun here is to experiment. Also use a screw top jar you need to put marinade in with . To shake. Lot easier.
With most marinades season.
This is my spice mix I make for Chickpeas very good with an edge. Otherwise spicy not hot but warming.
uses the following
1 tsp Cinnamon, Grd Coriander, Cumin.
1 quarter tsp Chilli Powder and Paprika .
Add in Coriander chopped.
Lemon juice and Olive Oil 1 tbsp. each. Mix in.
With Onion, Garlic use with Meat or Fish.
Glad to help, anytime.
