Hi @thespiceman you are very welcome.
The food that you have cooked sounds super delicious! Lentils are really nice, I especially enjoy puy lentils.
I’m not sure if I can make just one comforting food, though I do like a nice home made minestrone with some nice warm fresh bread and butter.
Delicious!

Hello @chockies Do a lot with Lentils, pulses and beans. Easy to do.
Have and do recipes adapted for me. With my disability. Use food processor and blender.
All got attachments. Favourite one is slicer blade for Onions cut thin, then stored in fridge for use.
Like Minestrone plays a round with recipes often doing simple ones. Leeks, Zucchini and Carrots with Swede and Potatoes favourite one. At moment with tins of mixed beans drained. Some times add in Pastina soup pasta.
Plus maybe Cannellini, Butter beans.
Anything from the freezer like Green Beans or Peas.
Like roots in a soup not a fan of Celery although do use it. What helps the prospective chef in all of us are the supermarkets.
Some do soup mixes all veggies diced, cut up ready to add stock or tin tomatoes.
Something to look out for. Then freeze in batches.
Anything I can help or advise with quite happy to give you or contribute.
Done this for a few of the community members.
Speak soon . Hope you doing OK.
