Hi I had my tribunal hearing today via telephone I was so anxious and nervous but they said they were going to award me the enhanced rate and it was going to be backdated so at least now I don't feel like they will are calling me a liar. If you are worrying about appealing then please do it because if you are entitled to it you should be able to get it

That's really encouraging to here and positive. I am so happy for you, I suffer with chronic pain and have my assessment soon but pain is such a hard thing for someone else to understand when you say I'm in pain everyday3

I appealed against their decision for the PIP daily living, i had 9/12 points on daily living and 12/12 on mobility, only the woman from DWP ask me 2 questions with regards to socialising which I find strange but I'm not complaining because the panel said they had no question and they granted me the enhanced rate of the daily living components although they did say that I might be reassessed at another time I told them thank you so much even though I was very stressed and have been so worried with regards to the appeal it has taken around 10 months since I had my f2f assessment in which she said I could put both hands behind my back stand on tiptoe and raise both hands above my head which are completely impossible for mebi786 said:That’s great what did u apeal for was it pip an ilness1 -
Thanks so much, the problem I see is they think so many people will not go through with the appeal but this stress and the cost of these hearing must be costing the government a lot of money not to mention they made me feel like I was begging for something for free and that I didn't necessarily deserve, I wanted to let people know there's is hope and NOT give upsheZZa said:Brilliant! It is so difficult for people such as you and me who are in constant pain everyday the same, sometimes it can be worse, it also must be difficult for these people who make the decisions based on the PIP assessor inaccurate assessment, I hope they will change the way in which they choose to do these assessments, surely a letter from medical professionals such as our GP or OT or physiotherapists as well as any mental health professionals if necessary, also when my medical conditions and disabilities will NEVER get better they should make their decision long term xx hope you are doing ok xxlaceypeach said:That's really encouraging to here and positive. Fantastic news @Angiebabes2410 really pleased for you. I am waiting for my MR decision and it is so stressful, already thinking I won’t appeal as all of the stress is getting to me, but reading your post makes me reconsider, well done!1
