When will they be assessing the mobility element of PIP claims for mental health?

Hi, has anyone heard when they will be assessing the mobility element of pip claims for mental health? My partner has enhanced rate care on pip but no mobility was awarded, I accidentally came across an article stating they were looking into this, thanks

Hi,There's a lot of awards to look through for this. DWP are in the process of doing it. There's no need to contact them, once they've looked at his claim they will contact him with a decision. There's no timescales to how long this can take but with 1000's to look through it could take a very long time.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Ah ok, could be years then, I have been reading through a few sites with information about this and they all appear to have been from the middle of last year but nothing recent. It's just a waiting game now.

Hi cara72, I live in Northern Ireland. I had my pip assessment this morning here I think the one assessment covers both.
