Hello everyone, does anybody know if it is possible to claim the esa benefit if you have marfan syndrome, I have no idea how to go about it and any advice would be greatly appreciated so thank you in advance.

Hi,ESA is for those with a limited capability for work, it's not about a diagnosis. A sick note is needed from your GP also.It will also depend on your circumstances, household income, living with a partner that works, previously worked etc. With no information it's impossible to advise. I'd advise you to get a benefit check from your local CAB.1
