I’m a new member, ??!
I suffer with recurring depression & anxiety but am currently under my local mental health team after a recent crisis.
I am waiting to see the mental health psychologist as they suspect that I actually have PTSD.
I had to close my business last year and am now unable to work. (previously worked continuously from age 15).
I am currently receiving Child Tax Credits & ESA but, the benefits system completely baffles me. Does anybody have any idea of what else I may be able to claim please as I am scared we may soon lose our house. TIA

Hello @AMB1812 Pleased to meet you welcome.
Thank you for joining and sharing. I am one of the team of community champions. Who advise and help new members.
Sorry what has happened. I would advise have you looked at our benefit calculator.
Please have a look at that and the related links on the webpage. Lots of information.
I would also speak to CAB for additional and any further support. Benefits are complex and confusing. You have come to the right place for information, support and help.
Please ask if we can advise on anything. Some one from our community or a member of our team. Will be able to answer.
Please take care.

Hi,What else you can claim will depend on your circumstances and household income. It's very difficult to give benefit advice like this on an internet forum because no one knows your exact circumstances. Whether you live with a partner that works, rent your home, savings/capital etc. You really do need to speak to your local advice agency for a full benefits check.0
