Hi just asking if someone can help with a question on washing and bathing if you need assistance to be able to get in or out of a bath or shower is that just with someone helping you or is it if you use a aid like a bath hoist or a shower hoist to get out of a bath or shower or is it only if someone helps you or do both count as assistance to have a bath or shower Thank you for your help.

Hi,A hoist is an aid. Assistance is when you need help from another person. If assistance is needed then you need to show why you can't reasonably use an aid and what would happen if an aid was used.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
