Hi Gina,
i support a 30yr old gentleman and he used to live in residential services and now for about a year he’s lives in supported living. Transition was all fine. There have been a few staffing issues- not enough and he wasn’t on any 1:1 support but now he has funding for 1:1 support as the service has had to re-introduce restrictions due to him running away and ended up in a different place and then getting scared. Each day is very different and there have been incidences whereby he is now physically and verbally aggressive towards staff and the police get involved but seems like the intensity is getting greater to get the police involved.
During the day he has no structure and staff struggle with this as he says he doesn’t want structure because it’s babyish.
What to do?

Hi @nadia345, and a warm welcome to the community!
Thanks for sharing this with us. I'm afraid this may not be something we're qualified to assist with, however perhaps our members could offer some suggestions. Have you discussed your concerns with the management of the supported living establishment?0
