How long does it take to get a review decision from the pip accessors .

Hi over 2 months ago my pip was stopped because they say I did not send my review form back .I phoned them and explained that I sent it back 3 day after receiving it they said wellw send a new one and when they get it back I will get my pip reinstated I waited over a week phone them again they said they've found the original form and it's with the accessors I'm still waiting to hear from them how long does it take any know ? Many thanks XX??

Hello and welcome how long is a piece of string, allow between 6 to 8 week's maybe longer but as they have found your original review form things may be different in time scale a weekly phone call for an update won't hurt if it helps.

Hi friends just an update.. I've phoned dwp again they said it's still eitw the accessors and they have a backlog and could take 3 months before I get an face to face then a couple of months before a decision it's absolutely terrible that they can take so long imI left stuck at home because they messed up with my form I asked them for the phone number for the accessors they said they didn't have any ....

Hi just phoned DWP about my pip again this time they said it was with my case manager now and they said they still didn't know when I would know anything again ..any ideas anyone please I'm out of my mind... many thanks XX ??

So sorry to hear you're still waiting @colin66, I know it can be tough when it feels like such a long time. You did the right thing by phoning in, and unfortunately I think that's all you can do at this stage.
