ADHD school transport ?

hi. my son age 7 has adhd. diagnosed almost a year ago hes been attending a pru school for past few weeks. i just wondered what, if any help is there for me getting him to n from school transport wise. its killing me on bus fares and he wont walk the 25 mins it rakes to ger there..he also doesnt like crowds so you can imagine what hes like on the morning buses

If you haven't already it may be worth speaking to your local authority inclusion team to see if there is any school transport or support they can offer? The website below may point you in the right direction on how to do that.

Also Scope has recently launched a brand new service called Navigate. Navigate provides a six week programme of online and telephone support to parents who have a child going through diagnosis or have a child who has recently been diagnosed with a disability (within 12 months). The aim is to provide parents with emotional and practical support that will help them build resilience as they start on their journey as a parent of a child with a disability or impairment.
