Hi everyone!

My name’s Adrian and I’m excited to have just joined the community team here at Scope.

I’m based in Essex and am a father to three fantastic kids. The eldest has just started secondary school, while the youngest is seven months and spends his days learning to crawl and posting things in the DVD player. I have a passion for sports and creative writing and when I’m not losing to my family at Monopoly, I’m always looking for the next great box set or book series.

I’m still learning my way around, but I can’t wait to get involved across the community and start getting to know you all.

@Adrian_Scope welcome to the Community Team and Scope.  Looking forward to seeing more of you on our community.  I have banned Monopoly in my house it causes too much stress .

I love the fact that your 7 month old is posting in your DVD player that is what my son used to do, but to be fair they do look like a post box

    Best wishes
    Debbie

    Good Afternoon Steve51
Thank you for your kind reply, did you get the answers from your neurology Consultant?
At the moment they are ruling out things with me.

    Hi @Clarissa1

    No probs it’s my Pleasure ? ?

I have been battling my little “demon since” 1998.

One minute it’s gone & the next minute it’s back!!!!!

I have had a good number of brain operation’s to date which has caused there own problems.

The only consultant that I see now is the “Urology Consultant”

As I have had problems with my stomach due to nerve damage.

My spinal Consultant said looks like Upper motor neuron and neurology Consultant is ruling out what it isn't if that makes sense. She told me about a rare condition that is (mnosd )which covers quite a few different areas I've done several MRI'S & cat scan, blood tests & lumbar puncture so far not all tests are in yet.

But that must be awful having for so long hopefully you will have light at the end of the tunnel.
2018 mine started all of a sudden lower back, then left leg, left arm, occasionally right leg..

    Hi @Clarissa1

Yes mine has been more downs than ups.

One day I was told I was 100% cured & the next day it returned.

Please please don’t worry everything is under control.

Can you please let me know how things go????

    @steve51

    Hi @Adrian_Scope

After being here a few months now, and having had time to get to know your Scope team colleagues, who does what, where, and learn more about
all of the community members (not just these champions) how are you enjoying your new role with Scope?
Is it what you'd thought/quietly hoped it would be?

It was nice to see your team colleagues (username_Scope)
posting on here to welcome you to the team.

Enjoy every moment of it :)

Hi @kohai and thanks for your message!
The role has been brilliant. It's very different to anything I've done before, but has been a fantastic experience and I'm very much enjoying it and grateful to be part of such a great team.

I hope you're doing okay?
