Hello all, I thought I'd join a group of people who live with various trouble and get on woth it OK, I'm at the moment having a bit of a downer and an inner loneliness problem. I. Raising three difficult teens who are not very sympathetic to the chronic pain of fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis in my back and knees, I'm feeling about 100 at the age of 51. And hoping you may have suggestions of places to get out and do some exercise and have fun!

Hi @Getagriplucy, it's fantastic to have you with us. Welcome to our community, how are you doing today? If you don't mind, would you be able to give us a rough idea of where in the country you are, so we might perhaps be able to recommend some places more local to you?

Hello @Getagriplucy  Pleased to meet you welcome.

Thank you for joining and sharing.

I am one of the team of community champions. You have come to the right place for support and information.

We are friendly, care and share. Always ready to listen.

Have a look around our website.

One suggestion that I have is the local county council where you live. Has a services booklet usually listing what they provide.  Including places to visit and volunteer information.

Another one is contact your wellbeing community service. Details on line in your area . Look at what they can do for you. Used them myself for lifestyle choices and ideas, need some guidance.

Had an addiction got a physical disability. Need to find out fitness and other lifestyle initiatives to help my health.

You can do this with the help with a dedicated member of staff one to one. In your own time, can opt out if need be. Depends how long you wish to continue.

Useful signposting to other support, organisations. Plus benefit review if needed.

In my case used my nutritional knowledge gained to volunteer and go further more awareness of my own health.

One other is most county councils issue a what on magazine listings of events.

    Hope that helps.

Please ask if we can help with anything always happy to do so.

    Please take care.
