Hi,
I attended an appeal against my fit for work decision at court today, which was adjourned as the DWP had not sent me copies of the relevant paperwork. Can anyone give me any idea of how long the wait will be. Any advice on how I can get someone or some organisation to represent me on limited funds and how to prepare for my next appeal would be appreciated.

Hi,There's no timescales, it depends how long the wait is for the next hearing date. For representation then you don't need to pay anyone. There's advice agencies who will represent you for free, start by looking here to see what's in your area. CAB no longer represent so try welfare rights or a law centre.

YThere seems to be none in my local area, apart from age concern, I don't think I would qualify for advice from them as I'm 60, not over 65.0

I don't know what age of people they help but you can always ring and ask.
