Sick note

Hi I have been claiming jsa since January and my work stopped my sick pay 2 months ago. Been assessed fit for work but I have a broken wrist that hadnt healed and need a major operation in Oct. I have been signed off medically but jobcentre are now telling me I'm fit for work. I can't drive far or lift heavy things, writing is quite hard for long periods, has anyone got any advice? Kind regards
-
Could you speak to your GP f ask them to write a letter that tells the JC your diagnosis f tells them that you are not fit for work?
-
I could if you think that would work, I thought a GP would over rule the JC but according to the capability of fit to work letter I received of them it didn't look like it. I've worked all my life and really didn't think this would happen. So frustrating, thanks for your advice I'll let you know how I get on
