A. Everyone must have enough food in their home to feed themselves. If you go short you can go to the council and get gift vouchers for food.
Or
A. Every local area should have a community list of skills on offer for free. In exchange the person would get to choose a free skill. Like, a decorater offers their skills for baby sitting.

A: I went on holiday with my husband years ago and we stayed in a tiny motel in the middle of the desert near Nevada, we woke early to watch the sunrise and it was the most beautiful thing. That's my favourite day!

Q: What is your best self care tip? That Liquid Talc from Asda is great and so much easier than trying to puff powdered talc onto those 'awkward' places - just don't use it on broken/sore skin - ouchy. ?Oh, just another, my 81yr old big sis's carers use newborn nappies on her legs and feet to absorb 'leakage' from diabetic related ulcers (post maggot treatment).

Nice tip! Do you have a question @GettinOlde?0

So, I just had a brain-fart and forget to ask the next question. ?Q: Umm - What do you do to try and keep your home cool when it is unbearably hot outdoors?

I keep all the curtains closed and windows open, it seems to help a little.
Q. Have you ever been out of the house with your clothes on inside out (the realisation my shirt is on inside out may have prompted this question)

A- At night only to pick up our mail. I live in a apartment complex.0

Adrian_Scope said:I keep all the curtains closed and windows open, it seems to help a little.I do exactly the opposite. The front of my home faces SSE and catches most of the sun until around 2 pm. I find keeping all doors and windows closed on the sunny side, and open on the more northerly side, keeps the place a lot cooler. The only thing, the front stonework acts like a storage heater making it feel uncomfortable at night.@A@April2018mom C'mon, you have to ask a question now.0

Okay
Q- Where is your favorite place to visit?0 -
A- Barcelona is probably my favourite place! I have only been once, but would love to go back!
Q- What is the best gift you have ever received?0 -
A A long time ago a Maine C-o-o-n kitten, it became so big it was like having a dog!
Q If you could be the star in a movie you have seen, what would it be?1 -
April2018mom said:Q- Where is your favorite place to visit?Never have travelled far, but was once invited by a Canadian family for an all-expenses-paid visit to Toronto in 1999 just when they had one of their heaviest snowfalls Going through the check-in at Pearson airport I was singled out for investigation because someone didn't like the tattoos on my arms. After being quizzed about my background and mentioning that I may look for job opportunities for the future ("we only have work for Canadians"), I ended up spending my first five days in the Mississauga Immigration Detention Centre, and because I had prescription meds (warfarin) on me, I was taken handcuffed with a police escort to a doctor's surgery for an INR test.I was eventually bailed to the tune of $10,000 into the care of my hosts on the surety I didn't leave the jurisdiction of Ontario. So, I couldn't travel with my hosts to Banff ski resort in Alberta for the week they had booked, and after my first two days with them, I had to book into a backpacker's hostel having to attend parole office each morning for the week. The last week with my hosts was absolutely brilliant until again, I was escorted handcuffed to my seat on the plane for the flight home.0
