Evening
I wonder if anyone can please advise me, my mom was on dla and income support years ago then got moved to pip and ESA although we noticed her payments had considerably dropped from the previous benefits we just presumed that was the rate she was entitled to,
Anyway i called esa regarding mmy moms bank details and lady started talking about sdp and filled out a form over yhe phone and done this for my moms 2 previous addresses also going back 6 years and advised they would be intouch within 6 days
My question is my mom receives at the moment roughly around £250 every 2 weeks does anybody have an idea what the breakdown would be on this, like is the sdp rate included already in that amount?
Many thanks for reading

Hi,That amount that she receives is Income related support group and includes the Enhanced disability premium but not the SDP.SDP is and extra £65.85 per week from 8th April 2019, less in previous years.Whether or not she'll be entitled to this will depend on her circumstances during that time. living alone or classed as living alone and no one received any carers allowance for looking after her.Decisions are usually made very quickly when applying over the phone and if she's entitled then it should take just a couple of weeks to pay what they owe her.0
