I remember Flying Saucers however. My local sweet shop sells them. It brought back memories from my childhood.  As I love old fashioned sweets I buy some. I love classic hard to find nowadays sweets.

So much older than yesterday. I may be older but I’m very much wiser. I was born in 1965 and going through the 70’ and 80’ the 90 i know there’s never been a better time than the the 1970. Life was so much simpler, no mobile phones and stress to succeed. What times we had. NC

You were born too late on I think.  I was born in 1948 days before the NHS started. For me the best times were from the mid-60's to 1983.  Downhill all the way since then mainly because of politics.

    Another youngster. :D

    Stinky old paraffin room heaters.
I used to be fascinated by the flickering patterns of the warm glow cast in the darkened room on a winter's night and the magical frost-ferns caused by the condensation from it freezing on the windows during the severe winter of 1962/3.

Ah, Safeways where I had my second job as a 17yr old in '74, where I bumped into my ex gf Tintins, the one who broke my heart after dumping me because I couldn't buy her nice things on my paper round money. ?
