We're looking into getting one of the Roger radio aid pen things, but are struggling a bit with the receiver side of things, does anyone know how to find out what type of audio shoe needed? (nathos auto micro hearing aid, we've seen nathos micro or nathos auto m but don't think it's the same?)

Hi @Androgen, unfortunately I'm not too sure about this one! I am tagging @Andy_Assistive who may know a bit more than me!

Hello @Androgen and @Chloe_Scope,
With regards to the type of Audio shoe that would be needed for the Nathos Auto Micro Hearing Aid, i would advise for the AS12 direct audio input shoe type. Please see this link which will help you more, https://www.connevans.co.uk/catalogue/14468571/Phonak-Nathos-micro-hearing-aids.
Also you may find it more beneficial if you speak with an audiologist over the phone to gather more information specific to the hearing aid set up that is currently in use. I have been working with FM Hearing Systems and they are very good at giving you excellent knowledge and advice specific to the hearing aid set up. You can contact them on 01535 279285, https://www.fmhearingsystems.co.uk/contact/ and they also have an online contact form and email address as well.
If there is anything else you would like my assistance with then please do contact me.
Regards,

Thank you for the advice
I checked the website and it says "no" next to the "direct audio input" bit so I'm guessing it doesn't have an audio shoe, but the other options are too bulky to be useful unfortunately0 -

I'm not entirely sure, but it looks like the Phonak Nathos Auto Micro hearing aids only work with a neck loop for radio aids (not suitable for what we need it for)
We're going to see if our audiologist has any other ideas or if there are different hearing aid options available0 -
I hope audiologist is able to help, if not then feel free to come back to us and we can try and help
I'd be great to hear what your audiologist recommends if you want to keep in touch!0 -
