Hi @Riga and welcome to the community! I'm sorry to hear the virus has affected you for so long, that cannot be pleasant at all! I have CP and I know it can take me a while to get over this type of thing. When was the last time you went and saw your GP? It may be worth going back if it persists.

Hi Chole. Thank you responding to message. The virus started three weeks ago with headaches and feeling sick which has now improved but I get aches in my body and my throat feeling tight. I saw the GP last Thursday and told me to take pain tablets. He said it would take time. I noticed over the years it take a long time for me to feel better after a virus. Any suggestions on medications I can take. I not on any prescribed drugs.

Hi @Riga, I'm sorry to hear this! I have found heat packs to be really helpful. I really hope this doesn't last too long!

Hi @Riga
Good to meet you! It's definitely not nice feeling ill for 3 weeks. Viruses can take some time to fully recover from. We're not able to recommend medications because we aren't medically trained. I can suggest that you rest as much as you can and stay hydrated.
Let us know how you get on.
