Today is Jeans
for Genes Day. It is the annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK, the
national charity that supports children affected by a genetic disorder.
The campaign encourages people to wear jeans to show their support and is a great opportunity to raise money for the charity, 10 reasons why you should join in!
We raise
funds to support children affected by genetic disorders.
- There are around 6,000 genetic disorders.
- It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed in the UK each year.
- Some genetic disorders are apparent at birth while others are diagnosed at different stages throughout childhood, and sometimes into adolescence.
- Please take a look here to learn more about the children we support and the difference your donations make.

I dont wear jeans...I prefer wide leg loose trousers, with elasticated waist...much more comfy than jeans.
But my condition is possibly genetic, so I have an interest in Jeans for Genes day!2 -
That's understandable @pollyanna1052! Always good to be comfortable.
