Awaiting Pip Decision

Hi, It’s been two weeks after having my pip assessment at home. Not sure what to expect!  I can’t walk with being in constant pain due to having a  Giant Cell Tumour removed from ankle, suffer with anxiety and not coping very well around my home. My assessor didn’t ask me to attempt to make any movements just asked me questions and seemed very understanding. At the end she said to me I will put you on a yearly review and you never know it could be me again!!  Is this normal procedure? Do I take this as a good sign. I’m so worried. Any feedback would be really great full. Thank you

I have no idea but you can ring and get a copy of the assessor's report. It has the recommended points in it.

The decision often goes with those (but not always). It'll give you an idea of what to expect.

Hi,

The HCP should not have said anything to you because it's not the place to tell you anything. As Jurph has advised, ring to request the report from DWP.

I thought exactly the same. I was quite shocked! Thank you for letting me know I shall call them and request a copy.

Yes, I also wonder why she told you she`d put you on a yearly check. It isnt her place to say that. How did you do with the phone call?
I had my f2f on 3rd...awaiting a decision too.

Hi, The assessor said she would put me on a yearly check because I have physio therapy scheduled and there is a possibility I may or may not improve. I’m still quite baffled by her response.  I’m a bit unsure whether to call, I don’t want to pester anyone because when I think about it it’s not going to speeds things up and I still won’t know for definite until I get the final letter. I hope you get good news ???
