I had my pip face to face assessment back in August and about a week later my needs got considerably worse so had a message from dwp saying they had had my information and was there anything I needed to tell them about so I phoned and told them I am now on oramorph and to add it the man put my details up and told me it looks like you have it and when you have your letter tell them then only still haven’t had my letter that was August is this normal

@ sleepingplum, hello and welcome, have you requested your assessment report. If not do so as on receiving it you can workout what you're award may should be but you still have to wait for the official award confirmation letter.

It can take between six to eight weeks for a decision on your PIP claim to be made following an assessment, sometimes longer. If you ever want to find out more about the status of your claim, then you can contact the PIP helpline on 0800 121 4433.
