Daylight saving time ends on Sunday October 27 this year in 2019, so don't forget that the clocks are going back this weekend.

I always try to look on the bright side and think of the days getting longer again from December 21 but I still hate this time of year. November and January especially.

Yes but you can see it creeping in from about 3.30. Sun low in the sky, shadowy etc. I suspect the majority of people dont like this time of year.0
