    Hi @justdon, it is completely understandable for you to be anxious about this if you have had such bad past experiences. I am terrified of needles (despite having thousands!!) due to experiences, even if I can rationalise it.

    You are just as brave, we just all have different things that we find extremely difficult, and that's okay. I just hope it's not too stressful and you can relax afterwards. :)

    Oh most definitely @justdon, even talking (typing) about it is making my skin crawl!! It's certainly a strange one!

    I have only ever had a tube MRI, but I know open ones are available in certain places.

    Never seen an open MRI scanner...been in a regular one and a CT (polo mint one) type. They are much quicker and quieter.

    It’s okay @justdon! It doesn’t make things easy but I get there in the end! Then go and treat myself to something nice afterwards!  :D
