Hi @justdon, it is completely understandable for you to be anxious about this if you have had such bad past experiences. I am terrified of needles (despite having thousands!!) due to experiences, even if I can rationalise it.
You are just as brave, we just all have different things that we find extremely difficult, and that's okay. I just hope it's not too stressful and you can relax afterwards.Scope -

Oh most definitely @justdon, even talking (typing) about it is making my skin crawl!! It's certainly a strange one!
I have only ever had a tube MRI, but I know open ones are available in certain places.Scope -
Never seen an open MRI scanner...been in a regular one and a CT (polo mint one) type. They are much quicker and quieter.
