Hi everyone. Happy Monday ?hope everyone is well.As some of you, I volunteer here as a community champion and iam not well physically but I enjoy doing this and helping and supporting people as much as possible. A friend of mine would like information.I'd like to ask if anyone knows of any job opportunities that are available in the uk to do from home that are not comission based for example juice plus /Avon and that people flexible for people with physical health conditions where the illness is unpredictable. If you could help that would be great and very much appreciated.
Thankyou in advance

Hey @Tammyjane33 , I'm in exactly the same position as your friend in terms of health affecting work. I'm actually trying to start a social enterprise that would allow people who are able to work but cannot work in a conventional workplace or who want to do part-time/flexible work from home to connect with job opportunities - if yourself or your friend might be interested? https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TN8KHBX . I'd really appreciate any input you have or if you could spare a few moments to complete it as your friend's situation is exactly why I'm doing this!In an ideal world, if you could do work the way that you wanted that would suit your health needs, what sort of work would you want to do?0

Thank you for sharing this @Tammyjane33. I imagine a lot of community members are in a very similar situation.
Here is a blog post from @LifeOfPippa about finding accessible work with a chronic illness. I hope you find this useful.1 -
Hi @Tammyjane33. I hope you are feeling better today. Before volunteering on here, I used to do typing and proof-reading from home as I used to have an advert on Gumtree. I haven't done this for a while though as it ended up that the jobs were getting fewer and fewer. But could be an option for your friend. I also do online surveys from time-to-time which I enjoy and you can earn small amounts of cash or vouchers from participating. I hope your friend finds something that interests her. All the best.1

The search for perfect enterprise from home, Art on Etsy, Next big youtuber.
I sell things on internet, but it doesn't do any more than top up meagre income.2 -
One of the problems with “homework” is shady companies, poor remuneration.
I wonder what you like doing as a hobby or a past time- is there anything that your skills could form a basis of an income possibly.3 -
Thanks for sharing @Chloe_Scope, really hope others find the post useful!1
