Is it worth appealing?

Hi there
I was told by a benefit advisor I would more than likely be refused DLA for my son first time round I apply. He was actually awarded high rate care and low rate mobility. For us a blue badge would really help but we need high rate disability, is it worth appealing? I just feel so grateful we got awarded first time that it seems greedy to try for the higher mobility

You could put at risk the award he has been given if you appeal, have you looked at your local councils blue badge scheme some have changed recently (I believe)Be extra nice to new members.

Hi Chloe, I have applied on line for a blue badge for my son, fingers crossed they approve it, this will help us dramatically. The relief to be able to be parked closer to wherever we are will remove a lot of stress out of situations
