Hi @5411emma - Welcome to this very supportive community. I'm sorry you're facing difficulties at the moment with your children. As Ami & Emma have both said, if you say about this there's usually someone here who may be able to help/advise.

@5411emma - I'm very sorry to read this. I am going to copy some information from Women's Aid https://www.womensaid.org.uk/   which may be helpful:

    Child contact and legal support

Going to court can be a daunting experience but there are rules the court has to follow in cases concerning children and domestic abuse.

If you have a legal problem you should seek proper legal advice.

Rights of Women are a good organisation to speak to and provide free legal advice on domestic violence and abuse, finances and property on relationship breakdown and arrangements for children. They have a helpline and lots of useful information on their website. Including:

Coram Children’s Legal Centre’s Child Law Advice Service provides free legal advice and information on child and family issues. They have a helpline which offers free advice between Monday-Friday, 8am to 6pm on 0300 330 5480. They also offer a paid for call back service with a legal advisor which costs £25.

I will also ask my friend, @thespiceman who has a great wealth of information & advice on mental health. Some of the charities may also be able to advocate on your behalf, but he will know more about that than I.

And just to say talk here any time, you definitely will have this community's support along the way.

@5411emma Also, it might be worth contacting or visiting  your local CAB https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ to see if they can give you any support.

Hi @5411emma. I'm so sorry to hear this. Do you have a support worker? Are your children in the care of their father or local authority care? Do you have any other family who are helping you?
