Making the workplace more accessible to people with neurological conditions

Hi I’m a workplace designer and strategist, last year I suffered a near fatal seizure and I’ve been diagnosed with a rare brain tumour. I’m finding that the workplace doesn’t wholly cater for my needs and I would like to create a checklist to ensure workplaces maximise performance and employee experience for people with autistic spectrum condition (ASC) and to improve cognitive, behavioural and social aspects of the workplace (activities, physical and support space). I’d like to contact people and groups so that I can gain practical knowledge to enable me to do workplace audits and suggest high and low impact design changes to make workplaces more accessible. Would you like to help?

Hi @GBurgis_68. This sounds like a fantastic idea. Have you had a look at #workwithme's practical resources for improving workplace accessibility?

Hi wow this would be amazing bit of work, I cant reslly offer any advice as my disability is physical but why restrict your work to just neurological conditions, I know this is of personal interest to you
