Home care help during lockdown

Hi, I wonder if there is any help during this period, I have a cleaner who visits me normally and tidied up and makes my bed and uses the washing machine to render clean clothes, withis lock she is unable to come, is there any help out there?

    Hi @Ragesht, just wanted to check in to see how you were doing. :)

    Here is some information about getting food and essentials and about having carers (which can include cleaning).

    I have managed to ask Hillingdon council for help, however, not getting any joy whatsoever and as time goes by, things are getting neglected.

    Sadly there is a lot of talk of help, what I found that no one will do it as apparently no one is allowed to enter a private residence during this lock down!!

    this I this is an answer from one Carer’s association,


    Unfortunately I’m afraid as it would involve the volunteer going into the your home which we’re not allowing at the moment. You may need to ask a family member or friend/neighbour if you can't manage.
