Hi I am the Mum of a daughter with an autistic spectrum disorder .Could anyone help please. I have just completed the form to ask DWP for a mandatory reconsideration of my daughter's Pip award which was turned down despite previously having DLA. Unfortunately in error most of the letter giving details of the points awarded and reasons has been shredded. Could anyone tell me the address to which I would send the form? Would it be the same as the address on the letter advising us to apply for Pip? Also do you think the DWP would be willing to send me a copy of the letter?

Hi @yorkshireJudith - Welcome to the community & thank you for joining. I would ring the DWP's PIP enquiry line (Telephone: 0800 121 4433) to ask for a copy of your daughter's decision letter, & to confirm the address where you need to send her Mandatory Reconsideration, as I believe it's slightly different than that for an initial PIP claim.Hope this helps.
