    Hi @bigjazz1

I'm sorry to hear your cousin is feeling suicidal, I hope that you are continuing to get some support from their GP.

Although it's possible to have online counselling it's not recommended for someone who is suicidal which makes life difficult at the moment... but you and/or your cousin might find the following organisations helpful:

Re the PIP, if you haven't requested a mandatory reconsideration then this is your next step in the PIP process - the more medical evidence you can provide the better - letters from mental health services, GP records [you just ask for a copy of these and send them], letters from your cousin's GP, support worker etc.  If you've been through mandatory reconsideration already then the next step is tribunal, again the more evidence you can provide the better.

Then if you win the award for your cousin perhaps you can then source some specialist counselling support for them that can get to the root cause of what is making them feel so desperate....

    I hope that helps.

Hi @bigjazz1 and welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear your cousin is feeling suicidal, this must be a big worry for you. Are the GP aware of this?

@EmmaB has provided some really good ways to gain support. MIND also have a page on supporting someone who has suicidal thoughts which you might find helpful.
